Defination of Sociology

 No simply definition has yet been accepted as completely satisfaction. Infact there are as many definition of sociology as there are sociologist. Some definition are as follows:

1. Talcott Parson: According to him, " sociology  studies the structure process in the social system in which there are direct and indirect interaction between individuals.
2. Kingsley Davis: he say that sociology is a general science of society.
3. Emile Durkheim: He define sociology as the science of social institution.
4. Moris Ginsberg: He define sociology as, In the broadest sense sociology is the study of human interactions and interrelation, there condition and consequences.

            The common idea underline all the definitions mention above is that, sociology is concern with man his social relations and his society. It is define as the study of social phenomena and social life.Thus sociology is the study of social group. It is the a study of human society and social behaviors. It is a study of social system, social institution, social organization,etc.
